So how do off-net calls work?

Well, GoTrek VoIP Phone converts your phone calls into data that zips through your high-speed Internet connection just like email.

How come the rates are so much cheaper?

GoTrek VoIP off-net calls use the Internet as opposed to the traditional telephone network so your call travels almost the entire way to it's destination through the Internet. The call becomes "off-net" when it goes to one of our servers and is crossed over to the traditional telephone network for the final part of it's journey.

And remember that calls to other GoTrek VoIP users are always free, so if you call someone very often, suggest to them that they run GoTrek VoIP too!
