Delivery
When can I expect to see content?
When content is available the GoTrek EV icon located on the
system tray will flash and you will receive an audio alert.
GoTrek will be downloading content in the background therefore
it may take some time for content to actually arrive particularly
after you have just installed GoTrek. So just go ahead with
your normal internet activities and you will be notified when
new content becomes available. To check if new content has
arrived, right click on the system tray icon and select "Show
Playlist". The content you have downloaded already will be
displayed here.
When will GoTrek actively load
content?
GoTrek will load content every time it detects that you have
spare bandwidth.
So it will be loading content when you are reading web content
(such as emails, web sites, homepage).
GoTrek will stop loading content immediately after you begin
downloading information from the web. This would include the
following activities:
Refreshing your screen
Going to a new web page
Retrieving your email
Interacting with a web page
Clicking on links
Submitting information
Will using GoTrek have any impact
on my Internet access?
No, GoTrek will not affect your Internet access speed. It
will only load content when you have spare bandwidth.
Viewing Content
How do I know when my content
is ready to be played?
When your content has loaded, you will be notified by the
audio/visual reminder. The Systems tray icon will begin flashing
and then change colour. You can also check the Playlist screen
at anytime, this will show you the content that is ready for
viewing.
Why is there no content showing
through GoTrek?
Initially there may be a period during which there is limited
content playing through GoTrek. Over time new channels will
be added to deliver new content, after which you can select
your preferences to specify which additional channels you
want to view.
Can I play the content again?
If you've missed the start of the video, simply right-click
on the GoTrek Ev icon located on the system tray and select
'Replay Content'. Alternatively you can go to the Playlist
screen and double click on the content you wish to view.
GoTrek
Settings
How do I turn
the audio notification off?
GoTrek provides you with an audio notification
when your new content has loaded.
You can enable and disable this setting by right-clicking
on the GoTrek EV system tray icon and selecting the "Audio
Notification" option. A tick means the audio notification
is enabled, while no tick means it is disabled.
