b. Registering for GoTrek EV

Next, register for GoTrek by completing the following registration form. This creates a profile for when you login to the GoTrek application.

You will be asked to fill out the following fields:

Username
Create a Username. The Username must be at least 4 characters and no longer than 40 characters long.

Password
Create a Password.

Confirm Password
Confirm your password by re-entering it.

Birthdate
Select your Birthdate from the drop down list. Select a Day, Month and a Year. GoTrek EV users can be any age. However, we need your date of birth in case you want to subscribe to any restricted 18 + channels now or in the future, in which case you must be over 18 years of age.

Country
Select your Country from the drop down list. This is necessary because certain content may not be available in some countries, e.g. the restricted channels are not available in India.

Post Code
Enter your Post code / Zip code.

Gender / Sex
Select your Gender / Sex from the drop down box.

Email Address
Enter your email address. Please ensure your email is correct and one that you regularly check as this will be our primary method of communicating with you.

Once you have completed the form, ensuring you have filled out all fields, click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.

a. You will receive an automatic email

After you hit the "Submit" button an automatic email from the GoTrek team (similar to the one shown below) will be sent to you via the email address you provided us with.

This email contains your GoTrek VoIP number, Username and Password, which you created when registering (see Step 1b). Keep these safe because you will need to enter in your Username and Password when you start up the GoTrek application later.

b. Registration Successful

After you select submit on the Registration form, (see step 1b) you will be taken to the 'Registration Successful' page.

You will be prompted to either:

1. Download and install GoTrek by clicking the link;

OR if you already have GoTrek on your computer:

2. Run the application and login with your username and password

If you select the second option then click here to go to the GoTrek VoIP setup instructions.

c. Downloading GoTrek to your computer

If you have chosen to download GoTrek then the following "File Download" box will appear in the screen.

It is recomended that you select "Open"

Firewall Issues when downloading GoTrek

Some Firewall's may prevent the download of the required .exe files for installation. If this occurs try the following steps to install GoTrek.

Step 1
Click here to begin downloading the required installation file. Choose 'Save' and select a location for this file and click 'OK'.

Step 2
Once download is complete, go to the file location, right click on the file and select 'Rename' from the options available. Rename the file 'gotrek.exe' and confirm.

Step 3
Double click on the file. This will initiate the installation process. Follow the prompts to register and begin using GoTrek today!

a. Installing GoTrek onto your computer

The file will self extract which means installation has begun.

Click "Next" to continue.

Press page down to read the License agreement completely.If you accept the terms then select "Yes" to continue.

To continue installation of GoTrek you must accept the agreement.

You will be presented with the system information for your computer, which may vary from the one displayed below depending on your computer and operating system.

Click "Next" to continue.

Next you need to select a destination location where you would like setup to install GoTrek to.

The default destination folder will be C:\Program Files\GoTrek.

To change the default folder, click the "Browse" button and locate the folder where you would like GoTrek to be saved. It is however recommended you use the default location above.

Click "Next" to continue.

Before files are copied to your computer you can review the settings you have chosen.

Click "Back" if you want to review or change any settings.

If you are happy with the settings displayed in the box, click "Next" to start copying files.

Installation will be quite fast and GoTrek EV will be installed first.

After GoTrek EV installation is completed, GoTrek VoIP installation will start automatically.

When both installations are completed the following screen will be displayed.

If you would like to launch GoTrek EV now make sure the "Launch GoTrek EV" box is ticked before you select "Finish".

a. Running GoTrek

When you run GoTrek EV you will be prompted to enter you username and password. Once the correct username and password have been entered an introductory video will be played automaticaly. Make sure you watch it as it will give you some tips on how to use GoTrek.

If you can't remember your Username or Password, you can either:

1. Check the email you received from GoTrek when you first registered with us, it contains information like your     GoTrek Voip number, username and password

2. Click here to retrieve your Username and Password from the GoTrek website

3. If you're still having trouble, please either:

• Visit the Help section of the GoTrek website http://www.gotrek.com.au/gotrek/help.shtml; or
• Email us at .

Once you have entered your Username and Password, click "OK" to login to GoTrek.

Every time you login to GoTrek you will recieve the "Message of the day" similar to the one below.

Click "OK" to close the message.
