What do I do if I can't log on?

Try some of these options:

1. Restart your computer and attempt to log on again.

2. Ensure that your computer meets the necessary hardware and software requirements.

3. Re-install your GoTrek application

- Close the existing software.
- Make sure the software is completely removed from your computer by clicking on Start, Settings,   Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and removing the GoTrek application.
- Click here to attempt and reinstall the software again.

4. Finally, check there are no firewalls issues that may block access to the application.

What if I have installed GoTrek but I just get a black GoTrek window with no video playing

If you have installed GoTrek but the GoTrek window is black and no video is playing, this is probably because you do not have the required Windows Media Player Codecs installed. The required codec is Video 7 Codec or a higher version. If you are missing this codec a window should appear when you try and run GoTrek asking you to install the new codecs from Microsoft. It is easy to install these new codecs so just hit "Yes" and follow the prompts.

If the codec download does not start automaticaly then just click here to start downloading the codec manually from the Windows Media Player website.

You should receive an acknowledgement email upon cancellation request. If you don't receive it, make sure you follow it up by sending another request again.

What is Spare Bandwidth?

Spare bandwidth is a term used to describe your Internet connection when you are not downloading content. For example, if you are requesting a web page, your Internet connection is downloading, and therefore using bandwidth. However if you are typing an email, you are not downloading any information from the web. As such, your Internet connection has spare bandwidth.
